20 mile bike ride

On 15th August 2010, setting off from Pugney's Country Park in Wakefield I will be taking part in a 20 mile cycle ride for the Wakefield Hospice.

I have paid my entry free and now call on you friends and family to give whatever you can in sponsorship to aid the great work Wakefield Hospice do.

I see the 20miles as training for the 40 mile next year. Have done Liverpool to Leeds before (120miles) but that was a long time ago, before I damaged my knee

Thanks to all that sponsored me on this. I completed the bike ride yesterday and while it wasnt a race I did it in 1hr 19mins and came in 7th out of about 50 that did the 20 mile version.

I have some pics at home and will upload when I get back tonight
