advanced system information programs
For those of you that like to have a tool that sees pretty much all PC-Wizard is not a bad one. I have been a big fan of Belarc Advisor, another one was Sandra by SiSoftware and there was even a older one before these just can not remember it's name
PC-Wizard PC-Wizard Another good one is Speccy Speccy Give them a try they both do a pretty good job and are both free which is in the price range of Techmonkey :-)

RE: advanced system information programs
Also, if you happen to be running Linux the easiest to use is hardinfo:
http://hardinfo.berlios.de Though infoc is pretty comprehensive, it's not as pretty: http://infoc.slackpd.netarteria.pl (These are the most similar to ones in OP, there are plenty of ways of using the shell to create reports like : "cat /proc/cpuinfo > hardwarereport.txt" etc). Cause free really is best
