Is anybody in contact with anyone who can make iPhone apps?

I am looking at having one created and need to get a price on it.

Lad at work's brother used to do them (makes a nice bit of profit aparentl).

Dont know if he still does them though and lad isn't here atm

My housemate Phil, makes his own apps for his phone. I am not sure that he is interested in taking on any freelance work but I am sure he could probably give you a good idea of how big a job it would be and how much you should be willing to pay. If you can get a rough spec together I will give it to him.

There is a SIG in my Mac group with a couple of developers. I'll ask for email addy's for you. What type of app are you looking to do?

Is it perhaps easier to provide a WAP version of the site so that all smart phones can use it? Could probably be done with an extra stylesheet Smile

Well yes and no, I did thik if simply creating a website that was the same dimensions as the iPhone screen and build it on that, much simpler, cheaper and no messing around getting in to the app store.

However the aim is to bring more folk to the site, so how would I advertise my new WAP/iPhone page?

However if it is an app, then it is listed in the app store which is a bonus and it should hopefully be easier to promote a free tech support app.
