Apple wireless problem
In our office with have 2 wireless networks running on 3 Cisco Aironet 1130AG access points.
The main network is our internal network which is protected by WPA-PSK2 with TKIP and a hidden SSID. The second network is the DMX network for guests which is protected by WPA-PSK2 with TKIP but is a public SSID Both networks are using the 802.11g standard and are accessible on all three access points. For some reason on both wireless networks all clients other than apple can connect fine, I have tested with Windows, Linux, Android, Blackberry and Nokia devices. But any apple device fails to connect, this has been tested with iPhone and iPad with various different versions of iOS and on various Mac laptops. The apple devices will be able to see the network as available and prompt for the WPA key but after continuing it will just loop around to the prompt for the WPA key again. Anyone got any ideas, if you need any info from the Access point config let me know. Follow me on Twitter My Blog Follow me on mFlow Gamertag - Davotronic 5000 |

RE: Apple wireless problem
ah, you're not alone.
An article on Apple's web site http://discussions.apple.com/message.jsp...ID=5765019 suggests enabling AES encryption. If that doesn't work, another suggestion is to try a different router. This article noted that the password is case-sensitive. Who would have guessed that? http://discussions.info.apple.com/messag...ID=4847088 |
