RE: Blue screen of DEATH!!!!
Hey Dez,

Unfortunately we do need that error message from the Blue Screen to be able to solve it.

However you can disable the automatic restart which will give you more time to make a note of the error, see instructions below:

Disable Auto Restart XP

Disable Auto Restart Vista

Disable Auto Restart Windows 7

RE: Blue screen of DEATH!!!!
Download WhoCrashed from here
This program checks for any drivers which may have been causing your computer to crash/

Click on the file you just downloaded and run it.
Put a tick in Accept then click on Next
Put a tick in the Don't create a start menu folder then click Next
Put a tick in Create a Desktop Icon then click on Install and make sure there is a tick in Launch Whocrashed before clicking Finish
Click Analyze
It will want to download the Debugger and install it Say Yes

WhoCrashed will create report but you have to scroll down to see it
Copy and paste it into your next reply.

RE: Blue screen of DEATH!!!!
It is possible. You could of had a corrupt sector that check disk fixed, however it could be a sign of a damaged sector on the hard drive, which is worth keeping an eye on (as it could lead to needing a new hard drive).

RE: Blue screen of DEATH!!!!
Well, it is possible to have a duff hard drive. I work for a Toshiba ASP and the amount of DOA (dead on arrival) hard drives we get is astounding.

However, it is more probably that it just got corrupted and check disk has resolved it. Keep an eye on it, but you might want to check if you have a warranty supplied with the hard drive, because you may be able to get a replacement (just in case).
