Can someone clever help me?

I have an install of coppermine and one of wordpress. They use separate mysql databases.

My problem is, if possible I'd like to have one registration for both installs, so that once you've registered or logged in on either part of the site you can go to the other without having to login again.

There is a plugin for wordpress that does do this, but it's not up to date for coppermine 1.4.10 which is what I have installed.

Would anyone be so kind as to help me? I know very very little about php and even less about mysql.

I should imagine I can have a working version out by tomorrow if you only want the login part of this plugin. I will install coppermine and wordpress on my server at some point to test out some ideas, unless you want to allow me to test stuff on your server.

I installed a test version on my server so I wouldn't have to keep asking you to test new versions on your server. Unfortunately I didn't get much time to do it this weekend and didn't finish it. I will also have no time all this week, if you still want it next weekend i'm sure I could make some time then.
