Can't connect to router
Between us, me and my better half managed to reset our wireless router when trying to get the PS3 sorted.
I now can't seem to access the router via a LAN to get the wireless stuff sorted. The ethernet cable is connecting the PC directly to the router but there's no LAN connection showing in the PC network areas on Windows. I've tried pinging the route but it times out. It's a ZyXEL router, which I don't think is very common. We've tried to repeating the 'reset' process which I assume is what has happened anyway but with no joy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Indecisive or flexible? You choose... |

Make sure you're not plugged into the "uplink" (outside connection) port, or that if there's a button marked "uplink", it's turned off.
Also worth checking the manual to be sure that it resets to the IP address you think it does
