Desktop Diary??? Anyone help please? (SOLVED)
Hello all,
Hope you have all enjoyed the time off from work and had a good Christmas
Smile

Within windows XP is there a Diary of any type, does anyone know?
Im fed up with losing bits of paper with appointments on it, but at the same time cant be asked to keep carrying two diary's around with meSmile.

No its not because im busy or have loads of contacts, i forget things very easilyBig Grin, so i do have to write everything down!

What im looking for is an on-screen (one that i can pop-up at the start of the day and see what if anything ive got on that day) display diary, that i can add / edit every day.....

any help, as usual is much appreciated, monkeysTongue

If it wasnt for this site and the people on it, i would have chucked away my Computer long ago ! and i would never have bothered with it again!!!!

KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK!!

You could use Outlook, it's got a calender in it most offices use for work. It's easy to use and will remind you of things you've got going on. You can also have your emails set up to appear there aswell which is useful when you wana have everything in one place.

Just a thought.

If you don't have office and want a good free alternative you can also check out Thunderbird and Sunbird from Mozilla http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/

Also for general office functionality, creating documents, spreadsheets, presentations etc http://www.openoffice.org/

Check Out Car Hire in Leeds and don't forget to check out my personal blog Fearless Shultz

Yeah Nos' have got outlook but im afraid that i am the dumbest person on the planet at the momentHuh

I cannot get my head round working this?
I dont need it to remind me of emails ect, what i do need is for me to open it up then double click (for eg) on the day and see whats going on or again, open it up and see at a glance what is going on that day / week /month, and if i need more details then i would need to double click.

The layout of the calender function in outlook is exactly what i need, but i am unable to do the simple thing of inputing data onto a day then have is show upHuhHuh
