Clearly, something isn't happy...
Is it possible for you to connect the netbook via ethernet to your router? Register Linux Machines: 408537, 413272, 413273, 435704, 435721

RE: DNS not found after virus removal
have tried that when I phoned virgin media about this. they said they can see the netbook on the wireless network and when i am on the ethernet and that it is connected to them both but i still cant get anything on the internet. The netbook shows that I am connected to my wireless router with good connection.
could this be a os problem and not an internet connection |

RE: DNS not found after virus removal
I don't know to be honest. After reading the whole thread, I'm not sure what else there is to try (there should be something, I just can't think at the moment).
I'll do some snooping about other forums, see if I can come up with at least another step to try. Register Linux Machines: 408537, 413272, 413273, 435704, 435721
