Ok, normally I'm not one to give a rat's left testicle about insurance companies. I usually settle for any cover/company that isn't monstrously overpriced, especially if there's no effort involved.
Directline's website however, had this to say this morning: Quote:If you are trying to retrieve a quote obtained before 18/02/2007 we have changed our login process and unfortunately this quote cannot be retrieved online. As it happens, not only can I not retrieve any information, I can't login anymore, because their new system demands an 8 character password - when I made my account, mine was 7. Great. Thanks direct line. Not only have you blocked access to my past data, you've wiped my login too! Suggestions for an alternative car insurance place, anyone?

I got mine from budget car insurance .. very reasonable .. or confused.com got gemmas at a good rate

i used confused.com last time i got my insurance and i got a really good rate
 in fact I got a great deal from Sheilas wheels, sadly there website was crap too.
