Phone Upgrades

I have my Phone upgrade with O2 due at the end of this month, and I have decided I don't want another IPhone, but I am torn at the moment between the HTC HD2 on WinMo 6.5 and the HTC Desire on Android, I love the handset for the HD2 and the android software on the Desire,

I don't really fancy hacking the phone to take android as I like my phone to be reliable, I just wish there was an Android equivalent to the HD2 anyone got any thoughts on this.

Well i have the touch HD and a HTC legend on my desk.

I would definately go with the legend.

Fast, good signal and android 2.1 with HTC sense is awesome

Think Bomber has made the best suggestion there for you, the Desire is the best Android available in the UK market at the moment and with Android 2.1 (soon to be 2.2) you'll have a phone that's easily the equal of the iPhone 3gs.

I have a HTC Magic myself and am loving the Android OS, even though I only have ver 1.6.

I think the iPhone's a great bit of technology, just don't like Apple's attitude towards it's customers or developers.

That is why I went the Android route...

The one thing that is stopping me from buying another IPhone is I want ITunes off of my PC.

I love my iphone, I hate iTunes with a firey passion bourne deep in the depths of hell (much like iTunes) and am currently deep in resarch into ways to get along without having to use it!
