Putting 4 Game Cd's onto one dvd
Hi,

Does anyone know if that i get all the data from all the 4 games cd's and burn them as data onto a dvd, will that work for reinstalling the game and for playing it, as had 2 reinstall it 3 times and it is a ball ache.

If there is a program that can do it for me can some one tell me thanks

SO you mean you run the install for all 4 games, from one disk?

If so I doubt that 4 games will go onto oe CD, especially if the are recent games.

You could always copy all the CD's into a folder on your hard drive, then create a simple script to run the installs one after another, but tbh, this would speed things up much!

ah sorry got the wrong meaning mate lol!!

Technically yes it is possible to do it, 4 CD's worth of data should fit onto one CD.

However it all depends how the game is coded, see if you copy all the data onto one DVD and then run setup from it, it may get confused with having all the files on one DVD or there may even be duplicate file names.

You could always use a program such as Alcohol 120% or VirtualCD, which creates a fake CD drive on your machine and allows you to make an image of each of the 4 CD's then next time you come to install it, load the images into VCD one by one and bingo your off. (NOTE Alcohol and VirtualCD dont work with evey game).
