I has been noted by a lot of people recently that most of the posts made on the site nowadays are virus and spyware related and, whilst providing free tech support is the fundamental point of the site, we seem to be missing a lot of the community spirit that we once had. I am not really a spyware / hardware expert but I am very keen on photography so thought I would try and get the creative side of the forums going again

To start off with I thought I would post a picture I took a couple of weeks ago on the way to Amsterdam.... All comments and criticisms welcomed

Also, whilst I am by no means an expert, I would like to think that I have a reasonable knowledge of the basic principles of photography so if anyone has any questions please start a thread and I will try and either answer them directly or help you find an answer

Yeah, I have comments from a couple of people that it looks a bit dark, will have to work on that, part of the problem I think is that I do my image processing on my laptop which can mean radically different results for other people than you see yourself sometimes.... Will really have to get my pc up and running again

* also, wasn't sure if the sun is a bit bright and dominant in the shot, there are also some solar flares, possibly down to me not using a lens hood... anyone have any thoughts on how the sun fits in with the rest of this shot?
