RE: security
Hi jalemi,

Welcome to Techmonkeys.

In my personal opinion Norton is a big waste of money anyway.
Its a resource hog and not overly better than free Anti virus .

AVG was well rated by security people a year or so ago but these days (as far as i know - and i am no expert) it isn't regarded as being as good as it used to be.

Still nothing wrong with it and i would still use it.

I use avast at home at the moment and i find it very good.

P.S how do you know the Master Monkey ?

RE: security
AVG sucks this year and probably will do for years to come, they are adding too much too fast.

Avira forever now. Smile

Hi Jackie Smile

Glad to see your now officially a monkey Smile

AVG is a good enough product, but has some annoying features such as the need to re-register it each year.

Personally I am with Belhazur and use Avira http://www.free-av.com/ which is just as good but less annoying bits.

p.s. who's your sister in law?

RE: security
jalemi, Avast would be a good choice. It's an excellent anti-virus. I personally use Avira. It's done a fantastic job at protecting my computer!

RE: security
At present i am using Microsoft security essential as security of computer from viruses. It is available free from the internet. I think norton is another antivirus which best for security purposes.
